Our Snow Adventure
There once was a family of five who lived where it is warm most of the time. They used to live up north, but the boys do not recall when the snow would just fall and fall and fall. Then one night, they awoke with joy and wonder.
Out their window was snow on the ground, snow falling, snow...oh what a sight.
Big boy was up and running. Big boy stayed out and played all day with a happy mood, only breaking to come in for food.
Little Boy was not the same, not really interested, much prefered to stay inside with a game.
Baby Boy could not stand on his own with his boots, coat and mittens.
He trotted out, though, and never left Big Boy's side.
Oh! And look here is Big Boy in the same coat when we lived up north.
I've forgotten for a time, I'm suppose to be making this rhyme.
It snowed all day and night. We played till our lips were frozen tight.
We moved to the country and have at times been doubtful. No sidewalks. No Starbucks. Long roads and drives. But this view was worth it, worth it every single time.
