At last...Our Spooktacular Weekend
Even though the Husband was away, there was no stoppin' us to fully enjoying our Fall weekend. As Halloween night closed, I took the boys out front and placed candles in their pumpkins. A magical transformation for sure, jack-o-lanterns. The glowing sight speaks volumes of Fall.
It was the Husband who brought the pumpkins to life. The boys personally requested the exact face which would adorn their orange friend.
Harvest mix was had by all.
Big boy insisted on a 'scary, but not evil and frightening costume'.
Little boy changed daily right up until Oct. 29th. Rock star with orange hair. Ghost. Fireman. Batman. And the winner was...Superman!
Upon leaving the costume store last week, I was begged to dress up as well. So $9.99 later, a Ladybug for me. The wings said age 3 and under, but I paid no attention and thought surely a wing is a wing is a wing.
Down yonder here, we trick-or-treat at nighttime, which is still a shock to me because up in the Midwest it was always Saturday 3-5. When in Rome....
It does make it difficult to get shots of the actual door to door activities, though.
We had Dracula visiting.
As well as the littlest cutest pumpkin one did ever see.
Fun was had by all.
No costume for the Baby Boy. Surely, it's all the same to him!

The Big Boy and I began our festivities making orange cupcakes. Yum. After eating homemade pizzas with friends, each cupcake was dolloped with chocolate icing. I mean, a sugar high is inevitable...might as well bring it in with a bang.
